What is this? They live in my basement, though I don't see them very often. I think the indoors are really not quite rugged enough for them, but every now and then one will do something like this one, which attached itself to an empty laundry basket that had been sitting down there. I brought it upstairs into the light, and it would NOT let go of the basket.
Anyone know? My best guess so far as that it's some sort of fishing spider. As in, they CATCH FISH.
