Yesterday I found this spool of steel ball chain (with strange plastic card holdery things) at the VV in Oak Park without a price on it. Usually I wouldn't bother, but I tracked someone down, who marked at it 80¢. Today I unspooled it and measured out almost 300 feet of ballchain. So. If I ever need it...
I believe the ball chain with the clips is replacement chain for those ugly heavy plastic vertical blinds like you see in business or on Patio doors. the clips hold the long pieces of plastic
