What's this?


I spent what seems like all day cleaning this thing. Who recognizes it?

it's one of those fake fountain things with a pump in it that you fill with mineral oil, and the oil flows down monofilament to simulate dripping water.

Yeah, not all THAT tricky... I was surprised by how many people I've spoken to who have never seen (nor heard of) these things.

My grandmother had one, I believe. Can't remember
exactly where it was in her home, but it was just a part
of what was always there.

I have every intention of posting a follow-up on this thing, but I had an unexpected occurrence AFTER I got it all cleaned up!

I had one!!! Had a friend that had one with a "water" wheel. It spun WAY too fast and spit out oil. :) Needless to say I liked mine better.
